I am so excited to share our new pocket chart centers/task cards.
When I was a first year teacher, managing centers was incredibly overwhelming for me.
Management, organization, and directions can be very challenging with K-1.
I made these task cards SO easy to implement, and children quickly learn the routine and expectations.
The skills change each month, but the storage, routine and expectations stay the same so students just focus on the new skills.
Each month, I use eight pocket chart centers - two each week that students rotate through. I store them in THESE containers, and the cards fit perfectly!
16 cases fit in each container, so one box holds two months of centers.
Let’s get started!
All of these kits can be used to teach whole group, in small groups, intervention, RTI, or in your math and literacy centers.
I provide picture scaffolding and other support tools so students can be independent.
Using pocket chart activities will add so much to your daily routine.
One tip is to introduce the activities on the carpet during your calendar/circle time so students understand how each activity works.
Then, they can be moved to your independent work centers or used for fast finishers.
SAVE WITH THE FEBRUARY BUNDLE
These activities can be used at any time during the year, but I plan to use them in February.
Each pocket chart kit is $1 individually, but you can get all 8 in a money saving bundle!
GROWING YEAR LONG BUNDLE!
I love using these so much that I decided to create monthly pocket chart centers for the entire year!
10 months will be included to take you through the entire school year.
Each month will come with 8 individual pocket chart centers for a total of 80 centers (most will include Spanish versions too!)
Growing bundles are an incredible way to save on your favorite resources, but please note that not all files are available to download yet.
I am still creating them, and they will be released soon!
